Ndugu is Swahili for brother, family, kinsman, for us it means togetherness.
Ndugu brings acoustic Hip Hop inspired by Mali blues and Afrobeat.
It started as Owen Weston’s solo project in an attic in Ghent, recording layers over layers of live samples and vocals and was translated to a band formation of 2 acoustic guitars, bass, percussion and vocals.
Get on our train and join us on a trip filled with grooves and intimacy.
Recorded and mixed at Farm Studios by Tom Vansteenkiste / Oktopus Productions
