He was born in Bogotá and settled in Buenos Aires in 2009.

Bassist and composer, Quebrada began his studies during adolescence in the PIJ program at the Javeriana University of Bogotá. Then he moved to Buenos Aires to continue his studies.
He is a graduate of the School of Contemporary Music, of the Superior Technique in Jazz of the Conservatory “Manuel de Falla” and also of the composition workshop of the teacher Ricardo Capellano. Currently studying composition with Fernando Tarrés.

In 2013 he participated in the production of the album by the group Factor Burzaco, an album that was released by the Italian label AltRock and presented at the Teatro Colón Experimentation Center.
He is currently a member of the groups Bosnia, Jardín Vertical and Pájaro Jaula, groups that are mostly about to launch their first record productions. Carlos has just released his first solo album called “Strangled the World” by the group Sales de Baño, and participated in the production of the album “Lenguas Vernácula” by the group Último Boabdil (Bogotá, Colombia).
